California Clean Truck Check program

The iOSiX product family covers a wide range of vehicle applications, from light duty all the way to Class 8 over-the-road trucks.  Compliance to the CTC Continuous Monitored program requires a cellular connection to transfer the test data from the vehicle to CARB servers.  Refer to the chart below to determine which is the best hardware solution for your specific installation requirements.

Nearly all diesel and alternative fuel heavy-duty trucks, buses, and RVs with a gross vehicle weight rating over 14,000 pounds that operate in California are subject to CTC compliance deadlines.  Affected vehicles include commercial vehicles, privately-owned vehicles, government vehicles, and vehicles registered outside of California.

IOSiX, the industry pioneer of medium and heavy duty OBD hardware devices, offers a suite of products approved by CARB for the new Continuously Connected testing requirements. Simply plug the hardware into the vehicle’s 9-pin or 16-pin data port and the testing routines will run automatically.  Test results are transmitted to CTC-VIS, eliminating the need to schedule an on-sight test at a physical location.
